But the root problem here is that we believe all the old ports will fail if we
update sqlalchemy to a current version?

I also need a fresh version, in my case sqlalchemy>=1.0.

I would prefer we just update the py-sqlalchemy port. It is very old?

How much will break? Anyone knows?
