I've actually prepared an update to this exact commit already (available:
https://github.com/kevans91/freebsd-ports/tree/master/net/freerdp)

I've been mulling about on officially updating this, though, given that:

1.) There's been little visible activity from upstream for a bit now, from what
I can tell

2.) There's not been an official release of this branch/version

And most importantly:

3.) I've not had time to actually test out this version

However, if there's demand and this version is otherwise considered stable,
then we can happily get this updated.
