 The only thing I can really suggest is checking CUPS while it is in debug mode 
 and seeing why it is throwing a fit. I know for myself, I was unable to print 
 after the 1.7.1 upgrade until I installed cups-filters and also fixed my 
 ghostscript to have pswrite, which I didn't have enabled before. I think this is 
 one of those YMMV moments. Not much I can really do about that.
