 There are several PRs for opencl.
 
 Does ports/180338 make this PR (178982) obsolete?  Should we close it?
 
 What about:
   ports/175107
   ports/181550	
 
 Do we close them to refer back to 180338?
 It seems like this is a mess and we should consolidate the reports.
