 Hi,
 thanks for the hint.
I followed the instruction in there, but ...

The xcb-util (even all xcb-util\*) has been recompiled, but it does
not contain libxcb-aux*. As a matter of fact they are nowhere on the
 system.

I followed up with compilation 'portupgrade -Rpv xfce4-xkb-plugin', but it dies
on missing libxcb-aux* as well with error:
libtool: link: can not find the library '/usr/local/lib/libxcb-aux.la'
  or unhandled
 argument '/usr/local/lib/libxcb-aux.la'
 gmake[2]: *** [xfce4-xkb-plugin] Error 1

 Any help ?
 JB
