>Description:
After much effort to align the new crypto libraries and new
sound system, I have finally come across a solid barrier.
gnome-volume-control refuses to start because of inability to
	find 'speex_packet_to_header', whatever that is.

>How-To-Repeat:
Attempt to start gnome-volume-control using the
Applications->Sound & Video->Volume Control menu item. Look at
	.szession-errors and see:

(gnome-volume-control:5826): GStreamer-WARNING **: Failed to load plugin '/usr/local/lib/gstreamer-0.10/libgstshout2.so': /usr/local/lib/libshout.so.5: Undefined symbol "speex_packet_to_header"
