>Description:
The port games/battletanks appears to be broken on FreeBSD 7.x. When trying to run it, this is the output I get, and then it just hangs:
[10:19:34.996][src/main.cpp:44] [notice] starting up... version: 5800 beta
[10:19:34.996][src/main.cpp:46] [notice] mem avail: -1 mb
[10:19:34.997][src/finder.cpp:37] [debug] skipped non-existent path item /usr/local/share/btanks/private/data
[10:19:34.997][src/game.cpp:927] [debug] loading plugin from /usr/local/share/btanks/data/../libbt_objects.so
[10:19:35.061][src/config.cpp:39] [error] load: [mrt/file.cpp:36]: fopen("/home/kris/.btanks/bt.xml", "rt"): No such file or directory
[10:19:35.062][src/i18n.cpp:112] [debug] loading file '/usr/local/share/btanks/data/strings.xml' with language: default
[10:19:35.073][src/window.cpp:46] [debug] gl: yes, vsync: no, dx: no
[10:19:35.073][src/window.cpp:65] [debug] initializing SDL...
[10:19:35.073][sdlx/system.cpp:197] [debug] calling SDL_init('00000221')
I've tried with various flags to disable opengl, etc, but it still hangs at this spot. You cannot ctrl-c the process either, you must kill -9 it to get it to stop at this point.
>How-To-Repeat:
Install games/battletanks on FreeBSD 7.0 or 7.1, and try to run it.
