- sorry, there is a long time since your PR, and in the meantime this
tarball has been removed from a lot of mirrors; could you please update
it to the latest release, in order to make it fetchable easily?

- USE_X_PREFIX implies a dependency on all the X libs; a dependency on
x11-fonts/fontconfig would be sufficient;

- it would be fine to run fc-cache during the post-installation (e.g.
see x11-fonts/webfonts).
