When selecting text in tomboy and using SHIFT+DEL to cut that highlighted text, the text does not go to the clipboard. When pasting (using SHIFT+INS, CTRL+V or pasting using the context menu), old clipboard content gets pasted.

In fact, any text cut using SHIFT+DEL gets lost.

tomboy behaves as expected when using CTRL+X. Other apps (like gedit) do behave correctly with SHIFT+DEL/INS.

Using SHIFT+DEL/INS is not documented but quite common.

write text in a note, mark it, use SHIFT+DEL, paste it by either using SHIFT+INS, CTRL+V, old clipboard content is being pasted.
