>Description:
A full description of the problem was submitted to the freebsd-questions mailing list. The MID was <fd5tkd$2hh1$3 at nermal.rz1.convenimus.net>. Alternatively, this message can also be viewed here:

The logs in this report are added as links to my webserver and I will keep them online for a while yet - if someone actually show interest in this issue.
I am not sure if this is an issue with the sparc64 port of FreeBSD or with pidgin itself (with FreeBSD/sparc64). I have addressed the issue on the Pidgin mailing list too and did get feedback that I am not the only person experiencing this problem when using FreeBSD/sparc64.
>How-To-Repeat:
Build and run Pidgin (IM) on sparc64. I have a u60 but I have reports that a U10 gets the same result
