 Yes, I saw that in the commit history for this port.  The patch worked
 when I submitted it, but I see that the author did another update on
 November 11 to some files in the tarball itself, so once again the
 checksums don't match.  :-/
 
 I would be happy to submit another patch, but I guess that is just
 postponing the inevitable.  I see on the ipbt website that there is a
 subversion repository; would it make sense to grab a snapshot from
 subversion on a set periodic basis and host a svn-based distfile on
 freebsd.org instead?   Sort of like what Marcus does with sysutils/hal? 
 Just an idea -- not sure if that would be better or worse than the current
 situation.
