 Hello,
 
 in general, I approve this, with the condition that all dependent ports
 (see
 http://www.freshports.org/search.php?stype=depends_all&method=match&query=freetds&num=100&orderby=category&orderbyupdown=asc&search=Search) will be checked whether their dependency information must be fixed due to the bump of the library version.
 
 At least a note in /usr/ports/UPDATING should be made with upgrade
 instructions for users of ports depending on FreeTDS.
