 Sorry, false alarm, this error went away after completely reinstalling  
 ocaml. But now I get:
 ./cduce -I web/ --compile web/xhtml.cd
 Fatal error: exception Pcre.BadPattern("this version of PCRE is not  
 compiled with PCRE_UTF8 support", 0)
 gmake: *** [web/xhtml.cdo] Error 2
 
 I'm not using WITH_OCAML_EXPAT.
 
 Which knob do I have to turn? There's no such thing as textproc/expat,  
 only expat2, and this doesn't have any option called WITH_UT8.
