well, i didn't knew where to give this hint to. i'm using blender and i saw, that the port-collection of freebsd is on blender 2.25 (publisher).
in the package-description is said, that blender is free for noncommercial etc.etc.. and the producer is NaN (Not-a-Number).
This WAS once .... long ago - now blender is produced by blender3d.org, blender is free for any use etc.etc.. and is now at version 2.36 (freebsd too).
all i want you to know is, that it would be nice, when pkg_add and portupgrade get the right version.
blender 2.36 runs perfectly und i don't see any sense in using an old version.
