Rescue this PR from the 'pending' category and adjust synopsis.

Note to submitter: we ports committers really prefer new port submissions
as sharfiles, as per the Porter's Handbook.  This was we can feed the
contents of the PR directly to /bin/sh and have the files extract
properly.  For updates to existing ports, diff -ruN output is preferred.
