Synopsis: security/nmap compile problem using gcc3.x, libstdc++
State-Changed-From-To: open->closed
State-Changed-By: eik
State-Changed-When: Sat May 8 20:49:13 CEST 2004
State-Changed-Why:
I can't see the benefits of not compiling nmap with the stock gcc from the
base system. While this problem is interesting, there is no point in working
around in the nmap port. If you want to file a bug against gcc 3.4, provide a
shorter sample program.
Setting CC and CXX in make.conf(5) is not supported, see the man page and
bsd.port.mk for tunable variables.
Note that nmap copiles with gcc 3.3 on -CURRENT.
