There are unrelated changes and in your patch. It's good idea to get rid of them. If you want some unrelated changes to happen - commit them as separate changeset. (e.g)
-_USE_PERL5+=			configure
+_USE_PERL5+=	configure

About the second path. I'm also prefer leave .packlist as-is, since it never late to wipe out it in future.
