apache-openoffice-3.4.0_3 build fails while trying to find Fortran library

problems with build while doing CoinUtils

configure: Fortran compiler options are:
checking how to get verbose linking output from g95... -v
checking for Fortran libraries of g95...  -L/lib// -L/usr/lib// -lf95 -lm
checking for dummy main to link with Fortran libraries... unknown
configure: error: linking to Fortran libraries from C fails
See `config.log' for more details.
configure: error: /bin/sh './configure' failed for CoinUtils
dmake:  Error code 1, while making 
'./unxfbsdi.pro/misc/build/so_configured_coinmp'

I wonder if anyone else is seeing this?
