I18N: Operating system doesn't support locale "en_US" - Solved

Sorry my forgetfulness!
A new FreeBSD installation and overlooked setting :lang=...: 
in /etc/login.conf.

But I still wonder where the "en_US" gets nominated,
maybe a default in Openoffice.
