GLib problems with openoffice.org-2.3.1

This is a known issue and a workaround exists: Before running any 
OpenOffice.org binary, set the environment variable OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP to 
"gnome". So, for a C shell, you could type:

setenv OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP gnome
openoffice.org-2.3.1-swriter

There is a patch that is supposed to fix this problem, but I am not sure 
of its status. For me, the current port crashes in the same way unless I 
use the workaround.
