So then I must reinstantiate X to get the font, correct?
What if I find some new free ttf font and put it in
	/usr/local/lib/X11/fonts/{TTF,webfonts} ??? If there a font
initializer or does the X server handle this?

	thanks,

	gary

PS: The fonts in x11-fonts/webfonts are "OK"--no complaints.
But I have several new ones, etc... .
