OO-2.0.2 WITHOUT JAVA

All my endless attempts to make OO-2.0.2 without java on FreeBSD 5.3 
from fresh ports are failed. Is it really to install OO without java or 
not? I saw the same problem in different mailing lists. It seems that 
only chance to do this is to modify the port. Would you working on it?
