Hi,

today I tried to build OOo-2.0.4.m1 on two platforms:
FreeBSD-6.1-STABLE for i386 [Xeon] and amd64[Athlon]

Using patch-i67904 from OOo-devel I had the following results:

First the good news:
ah at Crabberio:~$ uname -a
FreeBSD Crabberio.XXXXX.de 6.1-STABLE FreeBSD 6.1-STABLE #40: Tue Aug 22
00:10:27 CEST 2006
root at Crabberio.XXXXX.de:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/CRABBERIO amd64
Dekstop: gnome 2.14
Compiler: gcc-withgcjawt-4.1.2_20060714

OOo compiles fine and runs.
There is a however a bug when you include a table in openoffice-writer.
Cell-contents containing summs or differences get lost. This is not new!
It never worked on amd64 (see attached screenshot for details).

Now the bad news:
root at abaton:~# uname -a
FreeBSD abaton.XXXXX.de 6.1-STABLE FreeBSD 6.1-STABLE #18: Tue Aug 22
19:21:10 CEST 2006
root at abaton.XXXXX.de:/netP/obj/usr/src/sys/ABATON i386
Desktop: gnome 2.14
gcc-ooo-3.4.1_2

Build bails out in project connectivity -- it seems to be the already
known spinlock-issue.
I assume it is related to mozilla. I will try to rebuild OOo with 'make
-DWITHOUT_MOZILLA'.

A. Haakh
