Hello,
I recently did a clean install and upgrade to 6-STABLE
and everything works fine except OpenOffice.org will
not build and its binaries will not install.
Indeed, it is because OOo tends to be tetchy on
FreeBSD that I am contemplating whether I need to
consider another platform for it.
I have however, learned much about TeX in the interim
and am liking it more and more.
What information might I need to give? I got the
following:
In file included from conditn.c:37:
system.h:542: error: conflicting types for
'gethostbyname_r'
/usr/include/netdb.h:228: error: previous declaration

I recently tried to downgrade to 2.0.3 and that would
not build anymore. It might have been some
modifications I did to rtld in order to run flash, so
I may try that again. I just rebuilt world.
Any help would be appreciated. AFAIK, this port
appears pretty broken at the moment.
Charles
