Hi,
I've been trying to install openoffice-2 from ports and have run into the same
problem as someone else - see
http://docs.FreeBSD.org/cgi/mid.cgi?422F3812.7030208
Since that message hasn't had any replies, I thought I'd try asking about it
too.
I cvsuped my ports tree this morning. The port makefiles shows:
PORTVERSION= 2.0.${SNAPDATE}
SNAPDATE= 20050310
My system is 5.3-RELEASE-p2
Here's the output of the build:
daemon:/usr/ports/editors/openoffice-2.0-devel % sudo make
-DDISABLE_VULNERABILITIES -DWITH_KDE -DWITH_CUPS
===> Vulnerability check disabled
OPTIONS:
You can compile OOo with debug symbols with WITH_DEBUG=1
If you set WITH_DEBUG=2, you add internal
OOo debug support.
You can compile OOo without Mozilla connectivity by
make -DWITHOUT_MOZILLA
You may get better quality of glyphs
at small bitmap sizes, If you have
licensed the Apple patents
US05155805 US05159668 and US05325479, by
make -DWITH_TTF_BYTECODE_ENABLED
See http://www.freetype.org/patents.html for details
You can compile OOo without Java support by
make -DWITHOUT_JAVA
You can compile OOo to use Gtk+ vclplug
make -DWITH_GTK
NOTICE:
To build OOo, you should have a lot
of free diskspace (~ 4GB).
If you want SDK and/or solver, please type make sdk and/or make solver

File to patch:
at that point it just stopped, awaiting an answer to the patch question.
I could actually type something in & it would complain about not finding the
file.
If I abort the compilation (^C), it finishes with:
daemon:/usr/ports/editors/openoffice-2.0-devel % => Patch
patch-connectivity+source+drivers+mozab+mozillasrc+makefil failed to apply
cleanly.
=> Patch(es) patch-config_office+configure.in applied cleanly.
I'm trying to build the port to check out the kde support - as far as I can
see it's not enabled in the package?
I got the same error using -DWITHOUT_MOZILLA too.
Cheers,
