build from 114 fails (gnucp missing)

my build on a 'OOo1.1.4 stable' with  a 5.0 release(cd)  fails
because of  gnucp beeing not in place. the build is from the
ordinary source,that is not out of ports. Is there a way other than
updating the ports,(then i'd had to update world&sys too?)to get gnucp
(gcp?).
