systax error building OOo 11

Hello,
  I am new to FreeBSD 4.9 from windows and have read just enough of the handbook to be dangerous
I have had good luck figuring out how to configure everything to make my computer as a stand alone desktop (KDE blows windows off the desk)
printer, wheel mouse, sound ect.
good luck with the ports system on other programs.
I use open office in windows more than anything else and would love to get this working I tried OOo 1.1 and got the Java rutine I got Java instaled that it likes along with everything else did a make clean and then a make install

then I tried OOo 1.0 it doesn't seem to like Java 1.4.2
 so I did a   make clean  and tried OOo 1.1 again and it did the same thing.

dont know what to do? Help.
