Any thoughts on fanless PC from "Cappuccino PC" ?

You wouldn't need to get a Hush PC from London - they have a distributor 
in the US (www.logicsupply.com).  I would be very surprised if the US 
distributor sold 240V plugs.  The Cappuccino PC's look a little cheaper 
but they're, um, cheaper.  Nice thing about the Hush is that it would 
blend right in with your stereo equipment.

Mini-itx.com has a bunch of ideas for diy or pre-built silent and 
near-silent PC's as well.  Might even get you back interested in a 
special geeky diy project!

A bunch of folks on mini-itx.com run linux on their VIA PC's (the main 
processor for the mini-itx board, though you can get P4s and Celerons 
too), but I haven't yet heard of a FreeBSD install.  Maybe you could 
give some advice to the rest of us if you go that route - I've been 
quite curious to know if FreeBSD would run smoothly on those little PCs 
myself.  Performance isn't really an issue for me, to be honest.  
Silence is far more important to me.
