page command for "ls"

You can use 'ls | more' - the vertical bar is a pipe - space bar will
then step a page at a time & any other key steps a line at a time.
'ls -la | more' gives additional file information.

Is there an option for "ls" in FreeBSD that is similar to "dir /w" or
"dir /p" in Dos. In large file folders, when I use "ls" I can't see
all the files within the folder.
