problem during FreeBSD 5.2.1 installation on Toshiba laptop

I had the exact same problem on my Toshiba Satellite A45-S120. I
figured it was a bug in 5.2.1 and just reverted to 4.10 and everything
works fine. It *would* be nice if someone fixed this soon though. Note
that I tried booting in Safe Mode and Without ACPI and it still froze
during boot.
