multimedia and browsers on freebsd

hi all,

what has been your experience getting *any* browser to work with:

java
video
audio
flash
and all the other goodies

getting even some of this to work under SuSE 8.1 pro has been really 
difficult.  the java plugins *still* don't work properly in mozilla...and 
forget a functioning real player.

has anyone succeeded in getting a browser to really work under freeBSD? ( i'm 
looking to switch ).
