I've found that NFS client of FreeBSD 11.2-STABLE has bad NFS performance with
FreeBSD NFS servers and distinct real hardware, so the problem may be more
complex.

As workaround, use set of mount options at client side:
rsize=10240,wsize=10240,readahead=4

This improves performance in many orders.
