Is this problem still relevant?

If so, I would advise you to update to 10.4 or 11.1 and update mpd5 itself too,
as there were pretty nasty bugs in both of base system and mpd5 fixed recently.

If this does not help, I will need you to run tcpdump to ensure what part is
guilty here.
