Really? I ran into a situation ~2yrs ago trying to manage
a dongle based IF, in an effort get it to work with the
upstream, that required MAC based authentication. It's
in the list archives, somewhere. :)

I'll be happy to do it, myself, now. I'm going to building
a wireless switch, and will be doing *quite* a bit of work in
this area. So will likely be making contributions, and would
like to be kept in the loop. :)
