Fwd: dump hangs on 7.1

Hi,
I had a similar error with 7.0, and found reference that there was
problem(as far as I can remember there was an issue with large disk I/O and
creating snapshots on the partition).
Dump was creating the files, and it hanged, sometimes it finishes like once
in ten for small partitions. Every time hangs at pass 4, but for me
sometimes it was unable to get back to the shell with ctrl + c, I had to
close my ssh session, but I could fine the dump session in ps -ax.
I had the generic kernel, and I user freebsd-update to update to 7.2, now
it's working like a charm!
Because you don't have dump, please backup your system with another utility
before even thinking about the update, or you can still wait for the others
to tell you something useful.
Maybe some vmstat / gstat detail could be helpful to look up the resource
usage when dump hangs?
Best Regards,
Balázs.
