NetGear PCMCIA card (GA518)

Good day all,

Im trying to get the PCMCIA 100/1000 nic in topic working, someone has
managed it before:

But that patch wont apply cleanly, dmesg reports on card entry (with no
patch): 

re0: <RealTek 8169SB/8110SB Single-chip Gigabit Ethernet> port
0xf000-0xf0ff mem 0xfc007000-0xfc0071ff irq 16 at device 0.0 on cardbus0
re0: PHY read failed
re0: MII without any phy!
device_attach: re0 attach returned 6

Anyone able tend a hand?
