 I noticed there is a working form of the function 
 IoGetDeviceObjectPointer in NDISwrapper for linux. 
 The function is located in ndiswrapper-1.47/driver/ntoskrnl_io.c, lines 
 935-961.  It probably exists in other versions, too (most likely it does).
