Hi Julian,
Thanks for the hint. I honestly didn't recognized that it affects the
complete system, because I'm operating the freebsd vmware session from
remote (via terminal) and nothing special...
Adding the following option to /boot/loader.conf did the
trick:
hint.apic.0.disabled=1
Found that in the -stable list from december:
