Yes, I do. Video works fine, image is right side up.
I can't remember doing anything fancy, tricky to set it up.
Sometimes I need to start another application, like emesene(msn client
w/webcam support) for skype to grab the image from the camera, but not
always.

It's a Logitech QuickCam pro 4000, don't know why dmesg doesn't know
what it is.
There's not much here that can be of help to you, except that it's
possible to get it working and there's hope. If there's anything else
you wish to know, feel free to ping me and I'll do what I can.
