Hello,
I have a Pinnacle PCTV USB Stick (DVB-T)[1]. Now that cuse4bsd is in
ports, I thought I should test it.
Details:
tingo at kg-v2$ uname -a

21:21:40 CET 2010 root at kg-v2.kg4.no:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC
amd64
root at kg-v2# pv | egrep cuse\|webc
cuse4bsd-kmod-0.1.8 = up-to-date with port
webcamd-0.1.8 = up-to-date with port
tingo at kg-v2$ usbconfig -u 0 -a 3 dump_device_desc
ugen0.3: <USB 2870 Device vendor 0xeb1a> at usbus0, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL (12Mbps) pwr=ON
bLength = 0x0012
bDescriptorType = 0x0001
bcdUSB = 0x0200
bDeviceClass = 0x0000
bDeviceSubClass = 0x0000
bDeviceProtocol = 0x0000
bMaxPacketSize0 = 0x0040
idVendor = 0xeb1a
idProduct = 0x2870
bcdDevice = 0x0100
iManufacturer = 0x0000 <no string>
iProduct = 0x0001 <USB 2870 Device>
iSerialNumber = 0x0000 <no string>
bNumConfigurations = 0x0001
However:
root at kg-v2# /usr/local/etc/rc.d/webcamd start ugen0.3
Starting webcamd.
Cannot find USB device
/usr/local/etc/rc.d/webcamd: WARNING: failed to start webcamd
root at kg-v2# webcamd -d ugen0.3 -i 0

root at kg-v2# webcamd -d ugen0.3 -i 0 -v 0

What am I doing wrong?
