FreeBSD as a HTPC!

I like the "media on the network" idea but am not sure if it shouldn't  
be stored locally, for a while at least, which means storage space.   
You have started me thinking about and liking the concept.  I'm sure  
you have seen http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTPC which I find  
interesting for some more basic indoctrination.
