SUCCESS!!!!!!!!

Pardon my joy. :) I finally got it working!

This was the problem:

> [ 87.467457] ivtv0: Unreasonably low latency timer, setting to 64 (was 32)
> [ 87.986897] PCI: Setting latency timer of device 0000:00:1b.0 to 64

My BIOS default PCI Latency timer setting is 32. I saw this log entry and
thought to try adjust it to 64 in the BIOS. I confirmed with linux again
and dmesg showed that ivtv did not adjust it after I made the BIOS change
and it still worked in Linux.

Loaded up BSD and presto - cxm works now! And 'mplayer /dev/cxm0' is
working here too. Awesome! :)

So I guess someone should make a note in the port that the PCI Latency timer
BIOS setting must be 64? Maybe I'm the first of many to hit this. I guess
ideally the driver should correct it as with linux, but if not hopefully
this post helps others. I am running an Intel DG33BU motherboard BTW.

Got some more experimenting to do. Need to figure out all my channel
frequencies now. Should be fun. :)

Thanks all for your time and help. Thanks usleep for keeping this driver
updated!

Thanks,
Aragon
