multimedia/mpeg4ip: infinite loop at configure stage

I am trying to upgrade to the latest version of multimedia/mpeg4ip.
Port build process goes into infinite loop during configure stage:

This is FreeBSD 6.3-RELEASE amd64.
$ make showconfig
