Hi !
My first question was to freebsd-questions, but now i think that is a
multimedia issue.
ls for /dev/dsp* shows:
crw-rw-rw- 1 root wheel 0, 112 Dec 13 12:43 /dev/dsp0.0
skype says that is using /dev/dsp
dmesg says:
pcm0: <Intel 82801G High Definition Audio Controller> mem
0xde300000-0xde303fff irq 22 at device 27.0 on pci0
pcm0: [ITHREAD]
pcm0: <HDA Codec: Realtek ALC861-VD>
pcm0: <HDA Driver Revision: 20080420_0052>
I am able to ear sound on many apps.
mixer says:
Mixer vol is currently set to 100:100
Mixer pcm is currently set to 100:100
Mixer mic is currently set to 0:0
Mixer rec is currently set to 50:50
But I can get no sound on skype with regular user.
What should I do?
Thanks,
daniel
