It's ok, you don't have to do that.

Your soundcard seems do not have joystick, or probably its joystick
support is broken (I would favour the former).

Alex, Jean, any opinion about this? Since this must be done
early during attach process, IMHO there are 3 ways to deal with it:
1) Disable joystick entirely
2) Put some #ifdef
3) Use kernel hint to toggle it (hint.pcm.<unit>.joystick_enabled)
