Maestro3 and 5.3-beta5

Hi!

Yesterday I upgraded my HP Omnibook 6000 from 5.2.1-p9 to 5.3-beta5. 
Generated a new world and kernel, with "portupgrade -a -f" I recompiled 
everything, and after it the sound card looks bad. In dmseg it says:

pcm0: <ESS Technology Maestro3> port 0x1400-0x14ff mem

And if I play something (eg. ogg123 file.ogg), I got:
pcm0:play:0: plya interrupt timeout, channel dead

and of course, I cannot do anything with the application ( ^C, ^\, ^Z - 
nothing works). With kill -9, I can kill it. In ps, it looks:
MWCHAN: kserel
STAT: I+

There is nothing in device.hints related to pcm, and Maestro3 is loaded 
from loader.conf.

Any help or suggestions?
