How to play new flavor of mp3 files

mp3blaster plays it, but produces nothing but clicks. That's what
plaympeg does.

Oddly enough, Windows Media Player on XP plays it, and produces funny
hisses. I'm beginning to believe these things aren't real mp3 files.
