I have changed the return value, but the ntoskrnl messages are still
being displayed at a rate of about one per second.
I have changed the MTU and am now able to log in to gmail, however when
I do the following message appears:
"Some Gmail features have failed to load due to an Internet
connectivity problem."
Moreover, the user interface is unresponsive.
