My /etc/rc.suspend contains these lines:
kldunload sound snd_hda snd_uaudio
umount -f /mnt
My /etc/rc.resume contains these lines:
kldload sound snd_hda snd_uaudio
sysctl hw.api.asus.lcd_brightness=8
mount /mnt
Both sections are after the kldunload comment.
