SD/MMC (ricoh) reader on Thinkpad T61

I have a Thinkpad T61 with an integrated SD/xD/MMC reader. It shows up as such
on my system:

Has anyone been able to get this to work on 7.0-current? There was a recent
post in freebsd-mobile about an experimental driver that at least one other
user reported as working but I don't see it merged into the tree just yet:

I tried adding "device mmc" and "device mmcsd" to my kernel but no luck. Have
not tried the experimental driver just yet, figured I'd ask on the list first. 

My system is:
